If you want bright stars, this is the glow in the dark star kit for you!

"Small But Bright" Stars contain Aqua Base glow pigment with a bright yellow center, as well as a mix of Medium Aqua and Small Ultra Bright Yellow stars. By day they are neutral in color.

Create a Stargazing Window on your bedroom ceiling, cover the ceiling, or cover the wall - In fact, cover the ceilings and walls and you'll feel like you're floating in outer space!

Decals are hand painted. No two are exactly alike.

Decals will last a lifetime, although removable, you can leave it in place as long as you like, it will light up for you every night for a lifetime.

We offer several types of stars - These stars are smaller in diameter, but very bright. Black Lights or direct light charge will make them super bright.


THE KIT CONTAINS:
Each Bright Star sheet contains 300 stars of varying sizes.

How many stars do you need?

If you want your ceiling to look like the night sky that you're used to seeing "from earth" you can use the recommendations below for a natural looking night sky ceiling.


++ 1 sheet of 300 will give you a night sky view from earth if you cover A 4-5 Sq ft area over your bed.


++ 2 Sheets of 300 or 600 Stars will give a kids room a natural looking star field covering the entire ceiling. (up to about 120 Sq Ft)


++ 3 Sheets of 300 or 900 Stars will cover a master bedroom ceiling with a natural looking star field. (120 sq ft - 130 Sq Ft)

Double the Above numbers if you would like a very dense and bright star ceiling.




Helpful Hints:
- Decals and Star murals are designed to blend into your light or white bedroom ceiling/wall by day. If your ceiling is a darker color the decals will be visible by day, but will still glow all night long.
- The darker the room the better. LED lights should be covered for best viewing. Make your ceiling look as black as possible by removing all extra light sources and your glow in the dark stars and decals will look amazing.
- NO UV BLACK LIGHTS are required, but they do fully charge the glow paint that we use and you will see a lot more color initially if you do choose to use a black light.
- FOR NEWLY PAINTED SURFACES - Please allow 30 days for your paint to cure before applying decals.
- Decals work best on clean residue free surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do your murals glow?

All night long - you'll still see your night sky images just before the sun comes up.

Do the stars actually twinkle?

The stars appear to twinkle and glimmer - it's an illusion created by the paint releasing light through the night, and your eyes playing tricks on you :-)

Do you need to use a black light or any special lighting?

It depends on the glow effect that you want. If you want a natural glow like the real night sky, you won't need a black light charge - just natural light during the day should be enough unless your room is really dark all day long. If you want a bright colorful glow at first, please use a UV black light. UV Black light flood lights at 30w are good for charging a bedroom ceiling.

Will the glow keep me awake?

No - it usually has just the opposite effect. The Glow is gentle - most people find it relaxing - it actually helps you calm down so that you can drift off to sleep.

I painted my ceiling black, will your stars work on a dark ceiling?

I have stars made for dark surfaces. Not all stars will do well on a dark ceiling for 2 reasons. 1. The dark backing will not allow the stars to absorb enough light to glow like they should, or as long as they should. 2. Unless I've designed them for a dark surface, they may not look as nice against the dark surface when the lights are on. If you want to paint your ceiling black or dark colors so that you have a night sky mural during the day too, please order from our section for dark ceilings. If you don't see exactly what you want there, contact me for a custom product.

You have a lot of stars to pick from, which should I get?

I would be glad to help you choose a star set for your particular taste.

Halo Stars are made to glow gently and realistically.
Dome Stars like Ultra Bright, Aqua Bright, and Small but bright are made to glow all night long, and are bright - I use a very strong glow pigment mix in these stars.

3D star types are great for textured ceilings and theatre rooms where you will want to see your stars when the room is semi-dark. A black light is recommended in theatre rooms.

Halo Stars for Black (Dark) ceilings - have a special backing that lets them glow beautifully against a dark surface, and have a decorative finish by day.

TIP: The more concentrated your star layout, the brighter it will appear at night. Don't scatter them to far apart.

Is installation available?

I can install your star ceiling by appt if you are in the state of Florida. I will travel for some projects. I can also arrange for an installer to come to your home and install your ceiling mural. Please contact me for details.

Exactly as described and my order was loaded with extras to boot! I'll be getting more soon.

Sadly the stars don’t light up at all. I painted the ceiling black and put these up hoping to create a magical sky look. Unfortunately it just looks like tiny dots or mold on the ceiling. They don’t light up at all. Now I have to go remove them which will probably take hours. My original order was lost and the seller was kind enough to resend the package, so customer service was great, just wish the product was as good.
